Coaches and Managerial Staff

Coaches:  

Ashley Evans-  Ashley is also starting her third year on the coaching staff at Concordia University.  CU softball made its second trip to the NAIA World Series last season, finishing ranked ninth in the country.  Ashley was a member of the first ever team at Concordia to make the World Series as she played an integral role in the success of the team during her four years with Eagle Softball.  She was a three time All-GSAC performer, as well as all Region performer.  Ashley currently holds 12 of 14 career batting records and will forever be regarded as one of the most prolific players in Eagle history.  In addition to Concordia, she was an assistant coach for the 18 Gold California Cruisers-Rosenthal in 2004, and an assistant coach for the 14U OC Wildcats in 2006.

Alex Ariaz- Alex is set to being her third year as Graduate Assistant at her alma mater Concordia University.  Alex started her college career at Riverside Community College where she received all conference accolades as a sophomore.  Alex served as a utility player at CUI, ending her career with a .279 batting average.  She was a member of the first CU team to make an appearance at the NAIA World Series.  Most impressively Alex has played ten years of International softball competing for the Puerto Rican National Team competing in prestigious tournaments such as the Pan Am Games, and the Canada Cup.                                                                                        

Manager: Trea Reedy

Trea has served as a manager and Head Coach in the California Desperado organization for the past four years, highlighted by a fifth place finish this past summer in the Triple Crown World Series.  Trea has been responsible for all areas such as budget, scheduling, travel and fundraising; and he will continue to serve primarily in this role within this new organization.
